Dal Reads Event – September 25

This year’s Dal Reads pick is Mr. Penumbra’s 24-Hour Bookstore, a plot-driven novel about the power of information. It’s written in an engaging, conversational style, and also contains a generous dose of humour, mystery, travel, Google, code breaking, and secret societies – what’s not to like?

Copies of the novel are available at the Killam. Pick up yours today, and join the university-wide community book club engaged in the book.

The first Dal Reads discussion will take place on Thursday, September 25, at 5:00 at the University Club. Come by the pub and share your impressions of this fantastic read with fellow students, faculty, and librarians! (There will be snacks!)

You can find out more about Dal Reads events at https://blogs.dal.ca/dalreads/ or follow them on Twitter, @dalreads.
